Throwing away a book is a chilling reminder of times when books have been destroyed because those in power disapproved of their contents. So, yes, donate it if you can. Do you listen to a certain type of music that relates to the novel that you are reading? For Example: If you are reading a a novel historical fiction then you search music that is based on that era; or if you are reading a dark fantasy novel you listen to dark music. Or just random music that lets you concentrate?
